Islam as a religion shows its devotees many decorums of how one should eat and carry on with a peaceful life. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) tried growing surprisingly spotless and healthy dieting propensities among his devotees.

You should always eat in moderation
The number one rule for good health according to Islam is to eat in moderation. Whatever you consume, eat or drink, you must stay moderate in it. This will protect you against all the diseases and issues relating the health. And even doctors nowadays support this simple key rule. According to the religion, one must eat leaving 1/4th of the space empty in the stomach; this will help you in digestion and will keep the breathing process normal.
Take part in outdoor activities
Sports and outdoor activities are considered important in this religion this is why all the outdoor activities, for example, horse riding, archery, and more are persuaded. It will increase you in strength and will make you physically solid. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said:
“A strong believer is better and dearer to God than a weak believer, though in both is good.” (Tirmidhi)
One must get enough amount of sleep in order to stay healthy. It is Sunah too as Prophet of Allah (SAW) used to get adequate sleep but just to make it clear that he never overslept. In Islam, it is also said that one must sleep in the first trimester of the night and it is proved by the modern science as well that when you go to sleep early at the time of the night so this helps in maintaining the health.
A good amount of sleep protects human beings from many diseases like cardiac issues, diabetes and more.
Offer obligatory salah
Offering Salah is something mandatory for all the believers. There are five prayers that are made obligatory so to have good health you should offer your daily prayers and bow down in front of Allah as much as you can. Salah is a healing balm for not just the soul but the body as well. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) said:
“Verily there is a cure in salah.” (Tibb an Nabawi)
This hadith proves the fact that Salah brings the cure for all the issues in the world that includes both psychological and physical issues.
Share food with each other
When you eat, you should share your food with each other as sharing is caring. It brings barakah in the food and increases the person in health as well. In Islam, it is said that you should share your food with family, your friends, neighbors and the people who are poor as this is your responsibility towards them. Sharing the food is Sunah, keep that in mind too. Allah’s Messenger (SAW) stated:
“He is not a believer who eats to his full, but his neighbor goes without food.” (Tirmidhi)
